Not all reverbs are the same. Between spring, shimmer, room, hall, and a bunch of other reverb types there is no one catch all sound. That is where something like the RV-6 comes in handy with 8 different types of reverb in the same space you would normally have one this pedal is an incredibly versatile tool that any guitarist will find useful on their pedalboard.
Here are all 8 of the effects that appear on this pedal.
Stereo Operation w/ Analogue Passthrough
With stereo rigs becoming more and more common these days having a reverb pedal that can spread itself over two amps is very handy. But this pedal can do more than just that. This little box can also take a mono signal and turn in to in to a stereo rig as well if a lot of your rig works as a mono setup. Finally you can use this pedal as a 100% wet output at all times by just running in to the B input. This is really cool for when you are running a stereo rig and want to fill the room with reverb while still keeping your dry signal running as well.
