Update – 26th May 2020.
With finally some good news ahead, cases of covid19 reduced, talk of positive therapies for treating this cruel virus and antibody tests and vaccines, we should start to feel a little safer and confident that this will soon be under control and we can feel confident again to go about our normal life.
I would like to say thank you to all of our customers who have supported us through this tough time and we are looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
We have been working hard behind the scenes to get the store prepared and ready to reopen once more.
Your safety, confidence and health is paramount to us and we have put in place a few temporary procedures to make your visit as secure and reassuring as possible by complying with the latest government & NHS advice regarding social distancing and regular hand sanitising including the following:
- We have increased the amount of open space in the store to allow for a maximum of two to three customers at a time.
- We have added 2 metre floor markers as a reminder to respect customers space.
- We have alcohol hand solution and we will ask all customers to use this as they enter the store.
- We will be using antiseptic hand wipes to clean any product once it has been handled.
Click & Collect. – Purchases online or by arrangement.
To make life easier we have a click and collect facility which will allow you to either buy online via our website or simply give us a call on 07845904151 or 01622 755600 to make your purchase and we will arrange for your goods to be ready to collect at your convenience. This is for any purchase, reeds, strings, guitars, drum sticks etc.
Drop & Collect – Guitar restrings and servicing.
For guitar repairs and servicing please call 07845904151 or 01622 755600 to book in your guitar restring or service. We have easy access once again for you to just drop off your guitar.
Please ensure your guitar arrives in a case with a note that details your name, address, phone number and a brief description of your requirements.
Our guitar tech will use gloves and mask while working on your guitar. Once the work has been carried out, we will ensure that your instrument is thoroughly cleaned.
We have allocated a dedicated space away from main showroom so you can try out out an instrument. Members of staff will be on hand to serve you with any instrument that you would like to try out. This will give you peace of mind that you will not be interrupted or rushed by other customers. All instruments that have been used will then be cleaned by the appropriate cleaning agent.
We will update this information once we have final confirmation from the Government that non essential retail can open once more.
We look forward to seeing you very soon. Stay safe.
From all at Music Matters.
